It depends on the theme. Some themes include images that are licensed for you to use on your own website, while others use placeholder photography for demonstration purposes only.

If you see an HYD watermark on an image in the demo, that image is not included for personal use and will need to be replaced with your own photography or licensed stock images.

No. If a theme includes premium fonts, they’re already licensed for use within your website as part of the theme.

If you’d like to use those fonts outside of your website—such as for logos, social media graphics, print materials, or other branding—you’ll need to purchase a separate desktop license directly from the font creator.

Your existing posts, pages, and media won’t be deleted when you install a Hello You theme or import the demo content.

The demo import adds the theme’s layouts, settings, and sample content so you can recreate the look of the demo. To achieve that design, you’ll typically update your homepage, navigation, and other key pages using the new layouts.

If your website is already live, we recommend making changes on a staging site or enabling a Coming Soon page while you customize your new design.
